What are Competitions?
Under the World Cube Association (WCA), numerous Speedcubing Competitions take place all around the world, every Weekend. There are 18 official Events that can be held at these competitions.

Are there competitions in Switzerland?
Swisscubing regularly organizes competitions in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. A list of upcoming competitions can be found under Competitions.
When should I go to a competition?
As sooner you go to a comp as better. Independent of your speed or your age, a competition is an awesome experience. You’ll meet a lot of people, there’s always a friendly atmosphere and it will motivate you to practice more.

What happens at a competition?
Right before your first competition you should just know how to solve the cube. In the morning of every competition day there will be a judging and competiting tutorial. If you take attention and listen carefully, you will get to know everything there is to know about competitions.
